Cumbernauld and Kilsyth’s Marie Curie fundraising group has unveiled the date and location for its next fundraiser.

The Cumbernauld and Kilsyth Marie Curie fundraising group announced that the group would be holding its next Blooming Great Tea Party in Kilsyth, later this week.

Marie Curie is a charity which was formed in 1948 and its main vision is that everyone with cancer and other illnesses receive the highest form of quality care and support they need towards the end of their lives, in a place of their choice.

As part of its fundraising activities, Marie Curie’s groups up and down the United Kingdom organise ‘Blooming Great Tea Parties,’ which last year earned Marie Curie £750’000.

Confirming the Cumbernauld and Kilsyth Tea Party on Facebook, a Marie Curie Cumbernauld and Kilsyth member said: “The Cumbernauld and Kilsyth Marie Curie Fundraising Group are having a Blooming Great Tea Party/Coffee Morning.”

The event will be held this Saturday (14th July), at Kilsyth Community Church, with tickets priced at £2 each.
