Clyde's fan team, Bully Wee United, issue new player appeal

Clyde Football Club have issued an appeal for players for the club’s Bully Wee United, the Clyde supporters team.

Through an online statement, Clyde FC say: “The team has a strong core of fans already registered to play but is also open to welcoming new members, ahead of pre-season training later this month.”

Bully Wee United is looks for new players to come on board the team, for the club’s 2012 – 2013 season.

The statement adds: “BWU [Bully Wee United] are once again entering the IFA Scottish League (containing sides representing Ayr, Motherwell, Livingston x2, Hearts, St. Johnstone, Airdrie, Dunfermline and Raith Rovers) and the IFA UK Cup, which guarantees at least one match against English opposition.”

The only conditions are that layers must be at least 16 years of age and is “…that you are a fan of The Bully Wee!” according an online Club spokesperson.
